"pulp (non)fiction"
I was recommended to the local Virginia station of PBS Newshour Classroom to redesign their logo for their Invention Education program. PBS NewsHour Classroom is an educational resource provided by PBS NewsHour. The Invention Education program is a dynamic initiative that focuses on invention and creativity and is committed to nurturing students' inventive capabilities across various fields. They wanted a whimsical, yet mature logo to place on their posters or promotional material that appeals to both middle and high schoolers. With all of that in mind, I aimed to deliver just that by creating a versatile logo that reflects the program's focus on holistic invention as well as creativity, dynamism, and inclusivity while still maintaining a whimsical yet mature look. Even though they asked only for a logo, I figured I'll throw in a few ideas for t-shirt designs as well as a free sticker because...why not?
